Roberta Bernabei

Roberta Bernabei is a lecturer at the School of Arts, English and Drama, Loughborough University, UK, where she teaches contextual studies and an innovative teaching method of jewelry studies for vis-com, textiles, and fine art students. She is also a PhD candidate, engaged in research upon participatory jewelry projects and memories, embodied knowledge, and how these interact and inform the advancement of digital practice. Her work ranges from publications such as the monograph Contemporary Jewellers: Interviews with European Artists to international exhibitions at the Museum of Arts & Crafts, Itami; Museum of Contemporary Craft, Portland; Museo Arti Decorative, Turin; and Kunstgeweremuseum, Berlin. Her work has won awards from the EPSRC to the Craft Council.
