Philip Clarke was one of the judges of the 2016 AJF Artist Award and has been described as a “collector, chronicler of collecting and director of Objectspace.” He stopped directing New Zealand’s craft- and design-focused public gallery, Objectspace, in 2015, but chronicling and collecting continue.
