Harlow Tighe

Harlow Tighe is an art historian and visual artist specializing in photograms and camera-less photography. She received a bachelor’s degree from Smith College in Italian literature, a master’s degree in art history from The University of Texas at Austin, and studied at the École Nationale de Beaux Arts in Dijon, France, on a Rotary Scholarship. She began her curatorial career at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and spent 20 years working in Italy as a consultant in the fields of art publishing and museum planning. She divides her time between Milan and South Carolina, where she founded a company in 2017 to cultivate industrial hemp for medicinal products.
