Daniel Kruger

Daniel Kruger, born in South Africa, is a goldsmith-art jeweller. He was educated at the University of Stellenbosch (jewelry and graphic design, 1971–1972), Michaelis School of Fine Art, Cape Town (painting and sculpture, 1973–1974), and at the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich (with Hermann Jünger, 1974–1980). He has been the head of the jewelry department at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design, Halle, Germany, since 2003.
