Sarah O'Hana

Sarah O’Hana is programme leader of the BA (Hons) Jewellery and Object at the University of Lincoln, United Kingdom. She completed her doctorate in 2008 in laser processing of titanium at The University of Manchester’s School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering. This unique project established new avenues of communication between science and art practice using contemporary jewelry as research mechanism. Her work focuses on the activity that takes place at the interface of extreme interdisciplinary collaborations to increase the public understanding of normally unobtainable research, aiming to bring this information to new audiences.
