Margit Hart

Margit Hart is a Vienna-based artist jeweler. She studied history and art history at the University of Vienna and has a MFA in Metalsmithing from SUNY New Paltz. Since 1997 she has been Professor for Metalsmithing at Schulzentrum Herbststraße / Abendkolleg Schmuck.Design in Vienna. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is represented in several collections. She cherishes her contacts in different countries and loves contributing to a vital discourse about contemporary jewelry.
