Ellen Maurer-Zilioli

Dr. Ellen Maurer Zilioli studied art history, history, and anthropology at Munich and Basel Universities, receiving her MA in 1984 and obtaining her doctorate from Munich University in 1991. Over her career, she has taught at Passau University, worked as a curator at the Neue Sammlung, Design in der Pinakothek der Moderne, and organized numerous exhibitions and symposiums—including the curation of three exhibitions and catalogs of Bruno Martinazzi’s work. She is also a member of the Costituenda Fondazione Bruno Martinazzi, in Turin. She is currently based in Munich, Germany, where she runs Galerie Maurer Zilioli.
