POTIONS, ARABESQUES AND OTHER MANIFESTATIONS
At Viceversa through December 21, 2024. Felix Lindner uses manufacturing processes to express his questions about our lifestyles. He questions our perceptions by simplifying forms, tracking down their substances, or confronting surfaces in unexpected ways. Florian Milker prefers the idea of wearing an object that bears witness to the values that drive us and to our intimacy. He likes to imagine that our desires and fears are subconsciously crystallized in a form, a material, an allusion, a reference.
TEREZA SEABRA ACCEPTED INTO SCHMUCK 2025
Her work will be shown in the special exhibition at IHM during Munich’s jewelry week in March 2025. Congratulations!
FELIEKE VAN DER LEEST ACCEPTED INTO SCHMUCK 2025
Congratulations! You’ll see some new works by van der Leest. They always seem whimsical at first glance, but are deeper than meets the eye. She made this bracelet especially for an exhibition about democracy. While playing with some leftover animal parts she discovered that this setup told quite a present-day story.
MARGIT HART ACCEPTED INTO SCHMUCK 2025
Congratulations! Hart’s accepted work is about how we react to situations—whether private, political, or concerning the world around us, it’s always a matter of our attitude. Especially now, in our world, which is increasingly coming apart at the seams. We decide whether we sink or swim.
NANNA OBEL ACCEPTED INTO SCHMUCK 2025
Congratulations! The necklace Just CUT It consists of nine brooches. They can all be worn individually. It’s about women’s hair over time and in different cultures, and all the stories behind that theme. It is meant to encourage women to be strong and independent.
SIGURD BRONGER ACCEPTED INTO SCHMUCK 2025
Congratulations! In this new series of rings, Bronger used the gold leftovers from some of his early jewelry objects. He tried to sketch and improvise directly in the material. This gave freedom and joy to the creative process. The outcome was unexpected and surprising, with a smile.
RAQUEL BESSUDO ACCEPTED INTO SCHMUCK 2025
Congratulations! The Tales of Transformation series examines the connection between abstract forms and personal narratives through layered acrylic paintings. Each layer symbolizes life’s constant evolution, where every phase transforms the one before it. The process reflects the complexity of human experience, revealing deeper meaning as layers are uncovered.
IRIS BODEMER ACCEPTED INTO SCHMUCK 2025
Congratulations! This group of works explores the opening and unfolding of hollow bodies. From simple symmetries to complex, molecule-like structures, an interplay is created between inner space and outer form. Structures overgrown by electroforming are uncovered and reveal the moment of the drawing gesture and the sculptural idea of axial reflection.
DONALD FRIEDLICH ACCEPTED INTO SCHMUCK 2025
His work cut the mustard … groannnn. Congratulations!
