L.A. Pai Gallery first introduced Anna Lindsay MacDonald in 2005 when she was an artist in residence at the Harbourfront Centre in Toronto. At the time, Lindsay was developing Interlaced, a study of urban maps in wearable form. The strength of the ideas and the precision of its actualization was impressive. The gallery and artist continued to work together through Lindsay’s MFA in Chicago, where she was producing her memory-related series with her Wearable Calendar and Tactile Number Buttons. This body of work was part of the 2010 Expat Report exhibition and accompanying catalog at Craft Ontario in Toronto.
