AJF Live with Bryna Pomp

December 10, 2025

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Art Jewelry Forum has expanded its efforts to connect more directly with the jewelry community by regularly hosting live chats online. These feature artist studio visits, talks with gallerists about shows they’re hosting, interviews with curators and authors, and other programming tied to various jewelry weeks from around the globe. We record all these programs and post them on our website.

Bryna Pomp is an internationally renowned expert in contemporary jewelry. Over the course of her long career, entirely dedicated to the world of contemporary jewelry, she has developed an eye for discovering unique artistic jewelry that embodies craftsmanship, creativity, and innovation. Through research and travel, she is in constant pursuit of artists embodying these characteristics. A New York native, Pomp grew up traveling the world, honing her strategic eye for finding exceptional pieces. After earning a double degree in Art History and French from Wheaton College, she began her career as an assistant buyer in the fashion jewelry department at Federated Department Stores. She later refined her skills working as a product manager for Trifari and Victoria & Company, gaining invaluable experience at the core of the jewelry industry.

Since its inception, Bryna Pomp has helped grow and shape the highly successful annual contemporary jewelry pop-up MAD About Jewelry, organized by the Museum of Arts and Design, for which she directs the annual selection of artists from all over the world.
