Jana Machatova

Jana Machatova (b. 1972) lives and works as a jewelry artist in a small town near Bratislava, in Slovakia. She completed her jewelry education at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava in 1997. She works as a freelancer and exhibits in many solo and group exhibitions worldwide. She is currently a doctoral student at AFAD, in Bratislava, and is focusing on jewelry as a trace of a personal and political memory.
