Grace Cochrane

Now an independent curator, writer, and consultant, Grace Cochrane was born in New Zealand and lives in Sydney, Australia. Until late 2005, she was senior curator of Australian decorative arts and design at the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney. She is the author of The Crafts Movement in Australia: A History (NSW University Press, 1992), and continues to write or contribute to publications in all areas of the crafts.
