Cristina Filipe

Cristina Filipe (Lisbon, 1965) holds a PhD in Heritage Studies from the Portuguese Catholic University, School of Arts (2018) and is a researcher at the Research Center for Science and Technology of the Arts, at the same university. She received the 2017 Susan Beech Mid-Career Artist Grant from Art Jewelry Forum to publish the book Contemporary Jewellery in Portugal: From the 1960s Avant-Garde to the Early 21st Century (2019). She is an independent artist, author, curator, and educator.
