Alba Cappellieri

Prof. Dr. Alba Cappellieri is an Italian scholar, curator, and author in the field of jewelry. In 2014, she was the founder and director of the Jewellery Museum in Vicenza. She heads the Jewellery and Fashion Accessories Programs at the Politecnico di Milano, where she also directs the International Master in Jewelry&FashionAccessories: Creativity, Management, Communication and the Master in Fashion Tech: From active to interactive fashion, sportswear and lifestyle design .

She is a curator, academic, and consultant for many international jewelry brands, including Chanel, Tiffany, Bulgari, Buccellati, VanCleef & Arpels, Vhernier, De Beers, Cartier, Damiani, Pomellato, Chantecler, Roberto Coin, Intisars, Shiphra, Baraka, LiuJoJewels, Recarlo. Homi Fashion&Jewels Fiera Milano.

Just some of the most recent international jewelry exhibitions she has curated include Van Cleef&Arpels, Time, Nature, Love (Milan, Shanghai, Riyadh, Seoul, 2024); Tiffany Wonder (Tokyo, 2024), and Buccellati The Prince of Goldsmiths (Venice, 2024). Cappellieri is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Ecole Van Cleef & Arpels, in Paris; of the Altagamma Awards and of the Fondazione Cologni, both in Milan; and of the De Beers New Talents Awards, in Gaborone. From 2013 to 2016 she taught Design-Driven Innovation at Stanford University.
