During this trip, AJF travelers enjoyed a taste of French culture in a North American city that’s in love with festivals, the arts, good food, and enjoying life to the hilt. The multifaceted city represents the melding of Old World charm and New World energy, with 18th-century structures blending into a 21st-century skyline. June was the perfect time to visit, when the terraces are open but before the summer heat kicks in. We enjoyed exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to a special museum collection, took in art and jewelry galleries, visited collector’s homes, and experienced local culture through food and architecture. Here are some highlights of our trip.
