Growing up in a family of makers in North West England’s countryside, Jade Mellor has always used objects to understand the world around her. Jade earned her degree in 3D design at Manchester School of Art with her experimental processes sparked by researching science and history in local museums. To record what she found, she began a blog in 2009, and she soon found a love for connecting and sharing the work of others. She now works to support and promote other independent artists, with the idea of making jewelry a key to exploring other subjects. Learning and creating side by side, Jade makes jewelry which is intended to share the joy of discovery through being worn.
