V. Irene Cockroft

V. Irene Cockroft is a London-based, independent exhibition curator, author, and lecturer specializing in the story of women’s involvement in the late 19th- and early 20th-century Arts and Crafts and suffrage movements. She has recently curated the Emily Wilding Davison centenary exhibition, Dying for the Vote, at Bourne Hall Museum in Epsom, Surrey (2013), and the How the Vote Was Won exhibition at Stevenage Museum in Hertfordshire (2014). She is the great-niece of suffrage art-enameler Ernestine Mills (1871-1959).
