In this article, Rebekah will introduce readers to some of the different systems collectors use to organize and archive their jewelry collections. She’ll examine (1) why archiving and tracking a collection is important; (2) what systems work best for different end uses; for example, if you loan to museums, you may need a more robust database; and (3) how to get started.
